History of the Kowloon-Singapore Toastmasters Club
Kowloon-Singapore Toastmasters Club (KSTMC) was chartered in June 2000.
Kowloon-Singapore Toastmasters Club is a sub-club of Kowloon Club, the Association which was formed in 1990 with the initial objective of helping the immigrants from Hong
Kong integrate into the local community.
While majority of the club members are Hong Kong immigrants, Kowloon Club also welcomes local Singaporeans and residents of other nationalities
to join it.
The purpose of KSTMC is to provide a mutually supportive environment for our members to practise and improve their English
language and communication skills, using the methodology of "learning by doing".
Through educational workshops, prepared speeches and impromptu speeches, our members can
learn from the feedback given by more experienced speakers
for self-improvement and development of confidence.
Our Members
Kowloon-Singapore Toastmasters Club is open to all interested parties who are
living in Singapore.
Members of KSTMC are from all walks of life. We have professionals, salesmen and even homemakers. We learn from each
other!
Kowloon-Singapore Toastmasters Club is one of the warmest toastmasters
clubs in Singapore.
